Jeffrey Moss Obituary, Death: 66-year-old fatally struck while crossing highway

Jeffrey Moss Obituary, Death – Jeffrey Moss, a 66-year-old from Logansport, Indiana, was tragically killed in a car accident in Miami County. According to a report from the Indiana State Police, the incident occurred on Friday night around 9 p.m. Moss was standing on the southern side of U.S. Highway 24 before attempting to cross to the north side. While crossing, Moss was struck by a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander traveling west on the highway. The vehicle was driven by Stephanie Dewitt, a resident of Peru, Indiana.

Moss was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have stated that neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected to be factors in the incident, though toxicology tests are pending to confirm this. The Indiana State Police have asked that anyone with additional information on the accident reach out to their Public Information Officer, Sergeant Steven Glass, at 765-473-6666. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident remains ongoing.
