Jean Stevenson Aristilde Obituary, Death – Authorities are actively searching for a suspect after a man was found dead following reports of a single gunshot in Immokalee.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 32-year-old Jean Stevenson Aristilde.
According to an incident report, deputies responded to the 200 block of South First Street around 12:25 a.m. on Monday. Upon arrival, they discovered Aristilde lying on the ground with a pool of blood around him. Emergency responders determined he had no pulse.
Witnesses in the area told police they heard a single gunshot but did not see what happened. Investigators later found a shell casing near Aristilde’s feet.
Sheriff’s office spokesperson Adam Fisher confirmed that this is the second homicide in their jurisdiction this year. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to identify and locate the shooter.
