Jayden Greer, Daequan Stevens Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the two victims who lost their lives in a shooting at Dineen Park in Milwaukee. The incident, which occurred Sunday afternoon, took place near Appleton Avenue and Capitol Drive, close to a playground.
According to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office, one of the victims, 16-year-old Jayden Greer, was pronounced dead at the scene. His death has left local families shaken, as many parents, including Deaudray McKinney, expressed concerns about safety. “My kids love to go to the park. We usually let them go by themselves, but not anymore,” McKinney said, reflecting on the tragic event.
The second victim, identified as 27-year-old Daequan Stevens, was found in an alley several blocks away. Additionally, a 19-year-old man was also shot during the incident but is expected to recover.
Milwaukee County Supervisor Felesia Martin issued a statement addressing the tragedy, saying, “This violent incident has shaken our community, and my thoughts are with the families of the victims during this incredibly difficult time.”
As of now, no arrests have been made, and police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
