At approximately 1:23 p.m. on January 26, officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 3600 block of Moonstone Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered a man had been shot. The victim was then transported to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle. Authorities later identified the victim as James Rust, 18.

At this time, police have not disclosed any information about a potential suspect in the case. The incident is still under investigation.
