Jamaal Vaughan Death News – A 20-year-old man was fatally shot early Sunday morning on Chicago’s South Side. The shooting took place around 6:11 a.m. in the 10600 block of South Walden Parkway, according to the Chicago Police Department (CPD).
Police reported that the incident began when two men got into an argument inside a house. During the altercation, one of the men opened fire, shooting the victim multiple times in the body. The injured man was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the victim as Jamaal Vaughan, a resident of the Englewood neighborhood. Authorities have not made any arrests, and no one is currently in custody.
CPD Area Two detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting, though no further details have been released at this time. The community is left seeking answers as the investigation unfolds.
