Jakendrick Bass Obituary, Death – Jackson police have identified a suspect in a deadly shooting that took place earlier this month.
Detective Tommie Brown reported that officers responded to the 3500 block of Sunset Drive on March 5, 2025, after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found 21-year-old Jakendrick Bass, who had been fatally shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have since issued an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Lamaja Henderson, who is wanted on a murder charge in connection with the case. Police are actively searching for Henderson as the investigation continues.
