Jacob Offerman Obituary, Death – The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office has identified the individual who died in a deadly crash that occurred Tuesday along State Road 65. The victim has been named as 35-year-old Jacob Offerman.
According to authorities, Offerman was seriously injured in the collision and later died at the hospital. The crash happened near the intersection of State Road 65 and Estate Drive.
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office reported that Offerman was driving an SUV northbound when, for reasons still under investigation, his vehicle crossed over the median and entered the southbound lanes. There, the SUV collided head-on with another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained serious injuries and was also transported to a hospital for treatment. Their current condition has not been publicly released.
