Isaiah Fogah Obituary, Death: 16-year-old boy has been identified as the victim who was fatally shot at an apartment in Etobicoke.
Isaiah Fogah Obituary, Death – Toronto police have reported that the individual who was shot and killed at an apartment complex in Etobicoke on Tuesday evening was a 16-year-old male.
On Wednesday, authorities confirmed the identity of the victim as Isaiah Fogah, marking him as the second homicide victim in the city this year. The shooting occurred across multiple floors of the apartment building located at 7 Capri Road, near The East Mall and Rathburn Road.
Upon arrival, officers found Fogah along with another male victim who had also sustained gunshot wounds. Both were transported to the hospital, where Fogah was declared deceased.
The other victim is reported to have suffered serious injuries. Investigators have yet to release descriptions of the two masked suspects who fled the scene following the incident.
When questioned on Tuesday night regarding the possibility of an altercation preceding the shooting, Duty Insp. Phillip Sinclair indicated that the circumstances surrounding the event are currently under investigation.
