Guillermo Bonilla Cabral Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified a pedestrian who was killed in a hit-and-run crash on December 29 in Boone County as 20-year-old Guillermo Bonilla Cabral. Cabral, a homeless man not from the area, was struck while walking in the 11000 block of Rt. 173, located east of Capron, at approximately 5:47 a.m. The reasons for his presence in the area and his destination remain unclear.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department, Cabral was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene without reporting the crash. At this point, no description of the suspect vehicle has been provided. A passing motorist discovered Cabral sometime after the collision, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by personnel from the Boone County Coroner’s Office.
