Gianni Oswald Obituary, Death – An 18-year-old motorcyclist who died in a crash in Greece has been identified as Gianni Oswald of Hilton, according to Greece police.
The incident occurred as Oswald rode a black 2009 Honda Sport motorcycle eastbound on West Ridge Road near Manitou Road. Witnesses and security footage revealed he was traveling at an extremely high speed, weaving through traffic in a reckless manner. Police reported that Oswald appeared to accelerate even more aggressively after passing a Greece police vehicle that was responding to an unrelated emergency.
As Oswald approached the intersection of West Ridge Road and Long Pond Road, he ran a red light and collided with a pickup truck that was making a legal turn. The driver of the truck was unharmed in the crash.
The Greece Police Department has stated that the investigation into the fatal collision remains ongoing.
