German Garcia Obituary, Death: Coroner identifies motorcyclist killed in Highway 46 crash.

German Garcia Obituary, Death – A motorcyclist who lost his life in a crash on Highway 46 has been identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office as 28-year-old German Garcia of Lost Hills.
The accident occurred on Sunday evening when Garcia’s motorcycle collided with a Honda Civic. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to reports of the crash at approximately 6:04 p.m. near Highway 46 and Martin Avenue.
According to investigators, a 31-year-old Lost Hills man was driving a 2002 Honda Civic westbound on Highway 46, east of Martin Avenue. Meanwhile, Garcia was traveling eastbound on the highway on a 1994 Honda off-road motorcycle.
Authorities say the driver of the Honda Civic attempted to make a left turn onto Martin Avenue when Garcia’s motorcycle, which was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed, broadsided the vehicle.
Emergency personnel pronounced Garcia dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda Civic sustained minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
