Evan Neal Obituary, Death – Maryland State Police are asking for the public’s help as they continue to investigate a deadly shooting that took place Friday evening in Somerset County.

Authorities have identified the victim as 20-year-old Evan Neal of Crisfield, Maryland. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

The incident unfolded around 4:43 p.m. when officers from the Crisfield Police Department were called to the 200 block of the Somers Cove neighborhood in Crisfield. The report indicated that a person had been shot outside of an apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers found Neal suffering from a gunshot wound.

Investigators are now actively seeking 28-year-old Tyren Lee Ivey, also from the Crisfield area, in connection to Neal’s death. An arrest warrant has been issued for Ivey, who faces charges including first-degree murder and additional related offenses. Authorities caution that Ivey should be considered armed and dangerous.
