According to police, the brothers were traveling southbound on Southwest Barbur Boulevard when their vehicle collided with a van that was heading northbound and attempting to turn left onto Southwest Terwilliger Boulevard.

Evan Hadlock, who was driving the car, and David Hadlock, the front-seat passenger, were critically injured and later died after being transported to the hospital. A backseat passenger in their vehicle sustained serious injuries and remains hospitalized. The driver of the van involved in the crash was unharmed.
