Ethan Murillo-Ceron Obituary, Death: Two motorcyclists killed in separate crashes in Raleigh and Durham.

Ethan Murillo-Ceron Obituary, Death – Two motorcyclists from the Triangle area lost their lives on Thursday night in separate incidents. The first incident occurred at 9:23 p.m. at the intersection of Falls of Neuse Road and Fairfax Drive in Raleigh. According to police reports, an individual riding a 2012 Kawasaki EX650 motorcycle was heading south on Falls of Neuse Road.

Meanwhile, a man operating a 2023 Hyundai Elantra was traveling northbound and attempted to make a left turn onto Fairfax Drive when the motorcycle struck the rear right corner of the vehicle. The motorcyclist, identified as 18-year-old Ethan Murillo-Ceron, was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities from the Raleigh Police Department indicated that there were no signs of impairment from either driver. The investigation is ongoing, but no charges have been filed at this time.

Approximately thirty minutes later, another fatal collision occurred in Durham at the intersection of Miami Boulevard and NC Highway 54. Durham Police reported that a 68-year-old woman from Durham, driving a 2014 Toyota Camry, was making a left turn onto South Miami Boulevard from a parking lot when her vehicle collided with a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle traveling south on South Miami Boulevard. The motorcyclist, identified as 29-year-old Travis Barber of Durham, was pronounced dead at the scene.
