Tragically, the driver of the Acura also succumbed to injuries, though their identity remains undisclosed at this time.

In a rare twist, a female passenger in one of the vehicles survived the crash. She was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, where she is receiving medical attention for her injuries.
