Derrick Howard Jr Obituary, Death – The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office identified the man shot and killed in the Central Business District of New Orleans early Friday morning as 32-year-old Derrick Howard Jr.
According to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), officers responded to a shooting call at 6:05 a.m. on Commerce Street in the 600 block, near the Cambria Hotel New Orleans Downtown Warehouse District. Upon arrival, they found Howard suffering from at least one gunshot wound. His body was located in an area near warehouses and a valet parking garage.
