On March 2, at approximately 2:03 p.m., officers from the Richmond Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 1500 block of West Broad Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a man lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim has been identified as 20-year-old De’Andre Johnson of Richmond. Emergency responders transported Johnson to a local hospital, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
