David Edward Servos Obituary, Death – An 85-year-old Fort Wayne man who died in a crash earlier this month in southern Allen County has been identified as David Edward Servos, according to the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
The fatal accident occurred on March 4 at the intersection of Flatrock Road and U.S. 27. Authorities reported that Servos was a passenger in a car attempting to cross Flatrock Road when it collided with a semitruck that was already traveling on U.S. 27.
Emergency responders transported Servos to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. An investigation by the coroner’s office determined that Servos succumbed to multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash. His death was officially ruled an accident.
The circumstances leading up to the collision remain under review as authorities work to determine any additional contributing factors.
