David Baird Death News – Delaware State Police have identified the victim of a tragic hit-and-run accident in Camden that occurred on Friday morning. The victim, 93-year-old David Baird, was struck by multiple vehicles as he attempted to cross South Dupont Highway near Caboose Lane around 6:30 a.m.

According to police, Baird was walking east across the southbound lanes of the highway when he was first hit by a vehicle traveling south. This vehicle did not stop after the collision, and unfortunately, several other vehicles also struck Baird as they continued driving without stopping. As a result, Baird was fatally injured in the incident.

The Delaware State Police are urging anyone who witnessed the accident or has relevant information to come forward.
