Dahlton Fairbank Obituary, Death News; Lebanon Police ID suspect in Colburn Park stabbing.

Dahlton Fairbank Obituary, Death News – The Lebanon Police Department has identified the suspect in a stabbing that took place Thursday morning at Colburn Park. According to investigators, 29-year-old Dahlton Fairbank of Bristol is accused of stabbing a man in the neck during an altercation shortly before 9 a.m. The victim sustained serious injuries in the attack, and Fairbank reportedly fled the scene immediately afterward.

Surveillance cameras captured Fairbank running north through Colburn Park shortly after the incident. Later, witnesses reported seeing someone matching his description running south along Interstate 89. Police were able to confirm that Fairbank was picked up near the interstate and taken back to his residence in Bristol.

With that information, officers obtained a search warrant for Fairbank’s home. During the search, they discovered clothing believed to match what Fairbank was wearing at the time of the stabbing. Additionally, police recovered his cell phone and several knives inside the residence. However, by the time authorities arrived, Fairbank had already left the home on foot.

Fairbank is now wanted on multiple charges, including assault, being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, and reckless conduct. The Lebanon Police Department emphasized that he should be considered dangerous, and members of the public are strongly advised not to approach him if spotted.

Police are continuing their efforts to locate Fairbank and have urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Lebanon Police Department at 603-448-1212.

Authorities are actively investigating the incident and following leads. They have not yet provided additional details about the motive behind the stabbing or the relationship between Fairbank and the victim. The victim’s current condition has not been updated beyond the initial report of serious injuries.

The stabbing and ongoing manhunt have raised concern in the local community, especially in the normally quiet area of Colburn Park. Law enforcement is maintaining an increased presence in the area and is encouraging the public to remain vigilant.

As the investigation continues, officials are asking anyone who may have seen something suspicious in or around Colburn Park or along Interstate 89 on Thursday morning to come forward. Even small details could help bring the suspect into custody and provide answers about the incident.

Lebanon Police have not said whether they believe Fairbank is still in the local area or if he may have traveled elsewhere since fleeing his home. The department is working with other law enforcement agencies in the region as part of the ongoing search.

More information is expected to be released as the case develops. For now, the priority remains locating Fairbank and ensuring the safety of the public while providing justice for the victim.
