Claire Boyer Obituary, Death: Victim Identified in Fatal Route 7 Crash in Hoosick

Claire Boyer Obituary, Death – On Thursday, the New York State Police announced the identification of the victim involved in a fatal car accident in Hoosick. The two-vehicle collision occurred on June 4 at approximately 10:30 a.m. at the junction of State Routes 7 and 22. According to the initial investigation, on Wednesday morning, a Honda sedan traveling north on Route 22 allegedly attempted to turn west onto Route 7 when it collided with a Mazda sedan that was heading east on Route 7, as reported by State Police. Both drivers were subsequently transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment of leg and hip injuries.
Troopers reported that the front passenger of the Honda, Claire Boyer, aged 84, from Williamstown, Massachusetts, received assistance from emergency responders but was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is still ongoing.
