Charles Julian Jr Obituary, Death – A fatal crash in Allen County has claimed the life of a Scottsville man. Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 3 was contacted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the investigation of the collision, which occurred around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the 3400 block of Franklin Road.
According to the preliminary investigation by KSP, Charles Julian Jr., 44, of Scottsville, was driving west on Franklin Road when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming vehicle driven by David Parker, 40, of Franklin. Julian’s vehicle struck Parker’s, and Julian sustained life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
Parker, who was also injured in the crash, was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center for medical treatment. The extent of Parker’s injuries has not been disclosed, but he was reportedly receiving care for his injuries.
The Kentucky State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. At this stage, the investigation is ongoing, and further details may be released as authorities work to piece together what led to the tragic incident.
