Carlos Gonzales Villega Obituary, Death – A tragic accident at a hazardous intersection in Level Plains has claimed the life of a cyclist, identified as Carlos Gonzales Villega. The Coffee County Coroner’s Office, led by Arnold Woodham, confirmed Villega’s identity on Tuesday but has been unable to locate his family despite considerable efforts.
Villega, who was reportedly in the country illegally, was struck and killed by a car Sunday night while attempting to cross Highway 84 at the County Road 709 intersection. Level Plains Police stated that the driver involved in the crash was not under the influence of alcohol.
