Cameron Bernard Murray Obituary, Death News – A fatal crash in Eastland County claimed the life of a 37-year-old man after his vehicle plunged into a creek late Monday night, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
The victim, identified as Cameron Bernard Murray of Garland, was driving a 2024 Ford F-350 pickup towing a 2024 RawMaxx tilt-deck semi-trailer along Interstate Highway 20, approximately three miles east of Ranger. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when Murray’s vehicle veered off the roadway, colliding with a guardrail and a concrete bridge barrier before falling into Russel Creek.
Emergency responders transported Murray to Eastland Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:54 a.m. on Tuesday. According to DPS, Murray was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
