Brandon Thomas Roger Obituary, Death – A fatal four-vehicle crash in Liberty Hill on Friday night is under investigation, with authorities suspecting street racing may have played a role, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
DPS troopers were called to the crash site around 9:30 p.m. on February 28 at the intersection of State Highway 29 and U.S. Highway 183. The collision involved multiple pickup trucks.
Preliminary reports indicate that a black Ford F-250 was traveling east on SH 29 when it collided with a blue Ford F-250 in the intersection. The impact pushed the blue F-250 into a black Ford F-150. A white Dodge Ram 2500 was also involved in the crash.
The driver of the blue Ford F-250, identified as 33-year-old Brandon Thomas Roger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
DPS has not released further details but confirmed that racing may have contributed to the crash. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
