Bisael Lopez Hernandez Obituary, Death – Authorities in the San Diego area have released the identities of five individuals who died in separate traffic accidents over the past eight days. These tragic incidents occurred in various parts of the county, involving both pedestrians and drivers.

The most recent fatality occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Monday in Bonita. A compact vehicle left the roadway in the 4200 block of Bonita Road and hit 46-year-old landscaper Bisael Lopez Hernandez while he was working near the street. According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, Lopez Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Sunday afternoon, another deadly incident happened in Pacific Beach. Just before 3 p.m., 31-year-old Jorge Garcia Jr. of Alpine was crossing Grand Avenue at Kendall Street when he was struck by an eastbound SUV. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Garcia succumbed to his injuries before he could be taken to a hospital.

Earlier that weekend, 19-year-old Thom Nguyen lost his life in a motorcycle accident early Saturday morning. The crash occurred just after midnight on the northbound side of Interstate 5, near Sixth Avenue at the southern edge of Balboa Park. Nguyen reportedly lost control of his motorcycle, which crashed into a roadside barrier. He was thrown onto the roadway and was then struck by another vehicle. Nguyen died at the scene.

On Friday afternoon, 23-year-old Tiffany Zamora of San Diego was involved in a fatal single-vehicle crash. Around 3:45 p.m., her sedan veered into a center median along the 2100 block of Citracado Parkway in Escondido and collided with a tree. Paramedics transported her to Palomar Medical Center, but she died later that day.

The earliest of the reported fatalities took place on July 22 in Chula Vista. At about 11 a.m., 87-year-old Agustina Acosta was walking in a parking structure in the 300 block of H Street when she was struck by a pickup truck. The driver was turning a corner when the vehicle hit Acosta. She was taken to UCSD Medical Center in San Diego, where she was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.

These five fatalities reflect a grim week for traffic-related incidents in the San Diego area. Officials are continuing to investigate each of the crashes to determine contributing factors and any possible charges, though details have not yet been released in most cases. Authorities urge the public to remain cautious and alert on the roads, whether driving, walking, or working near traffic, to help prevent further tragedies.
