Bilol Egamberdiev Obituary, Death – A 19-year-old man who lost his life in a motorcycle accident inside the Armstrong Tunnel earlier this week has been identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office. The victim was Bilol Egamberdiev, a resident of Glenshaw.
The crash occurred just before 12:25 a.m. on Tuesday, as Egamberdiev was riding his motorcycle through the inbound side of the Armstrong Tunnel in Pittsburgh’s Bluff neighborhood, close to the Downtown area. According to investigators, he was traveling at a high rate of speed when he reached the curve at the tunnel’s end.
Due to his speed, Egamberdiev was reportedly unable to make the turn and crashed. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found him in critical condition. He was transported to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
