Barry White Obituary, Death – Police are currently investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred in Severna Park on January 24, resulting in the death of a 70-year-old man. According to the Anne Arundel County Police, the crash took place around 6:50 p.m. near the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Whites Road. Officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of an incident involving an SUV and a pedestrian.

Initial investigations revealed that the driver of an SUV was traveling south on Ritchie Highway when they struck the pedestrian, who was in the roadway. Emergency personnel from the fire department arrived and pronounced the victim, later identified as Barry White from Gwynn Oak, deceased at the scene. The driver of the SUV remained at the location of the crash and was reported to be unharmed.

The police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash, with the Traffic Safety Section leading the inquiry.
