Barry Stephen White Obituary, Death: Pedestrian Killed in Severna Park SUV Crash on Ritchie Highway
Barry Stephen White Obituary, Death – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred on Ritchie Highway in Severna Park on January 24, resulting in the death of a 70-year-old man, Barry Stephen White, of Gwynn Oak. The incident took place around 6:50 p.m. when Anne Arundel County police were called to the scene at Ritchie Highway and Whites Road for a reported crash involving a pedestrian.
Upon investigation, it was determined that a Mazda SUV was traveling southbound on Ritchie Highway when it struck the pedestrian, who was in the roadway. The fire department arrived shortly after and pronounced White dead at the scene. The police identified the driver of the Mazda as 27-year-old Da’Von Tawain Bell from Annapolis, who was uninjured in the crash.
The Traffic Safety Section is currently investigating the incident.
