Ayanna A. Scott Obituary, Death – A tragic two-vehicle collision in Cullman County on Tuesday morning claimed the life of a Center Point woman, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Ayanna A. Scott. Authorities say Scott was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Malibu when her vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer. The impact of the crash caused Scott’s car to veer off the road and overturn.
According to investigators, Scott was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. As a result, she was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene.
The fatal accident took place on Alabama Highway 91 near Cullman County Road 509, approximately six miles south of the town of Hanceville.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division has taken charge of the investigation into the cause of the collision. No further details have been released as of now.
