The accident occurred on October 28, 2024, at approximately 4:37 p.m. at the intersection of Naylor Avenue and Wood Street in Taft. According to reports, Davis was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck by another car at the intersection.

Following the crash, Davis was transported to Kern Medical for treatment. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries the following day.
