Antonio Jesus Vicente Sanic Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the bicyclist killed in a crash early Tuesday in Farmingdale as 41-year-old Antonio Jesus Vicente Sanic, a resident of the area. The incident occurred around 5:05 a.m. when a 37-year-old man was driving a 2008 Honda CRV southbound on Fulton Street. At the intersection with Staples Street, the vehicle collided with Vicente Sanic, who was riding his bicycle.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and Vicente Sanic was pronounced dead at 5:11 a.m. by a police medic. The driver of the Honda remained at the scene following the collision and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The crash is still under investigation by Nassau police, though no charges have been reported at this time.
