Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced Guell dead due to blunt force trauma caused by the impact. His injuries were severe, and he was found unresponsive at the crash site.
The operator of the backhoe, who was on the equipment at the time of the collision, was also hurt during the incident. Although the extent of their injuries has not been fully disclosed, officials say they were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Fortunately, their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
