Amone R. Moore Obituary, Death – A Louisiana man who was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer in Greene County last month has been identified.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported that the incident occurred around 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23. The victim, identified as 32-year-old Amone R. Moore of Independence, Louisiana, was in the roadway when he was hit by a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia. The truck was being driven by a man from Georgia.

Moore’s body was taken to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science, where officials later confirmed his identity.

The crash happened on Interstate 59, about three miles south of Eutaw in Greene County. Authorities are still investigating the fatal accident.
