Alice Parsons Obituary, Death – The Person County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that deputies located a vehicle containing a body, believed to be that of Alice Parsons, an 83-year-old woman from Pittsboro, Chatham County, who had been missing since October 17. The sheriff indicated that the clothing and vehicle matched Parsons’ description, although formal identification has not yet been made.
The vehicle was discovered on Burlington Road in the Bushy Forks community of Hurdle Mills, approximately in the 8400 block. Initial investigations suggest that the vehicle may have veered off the main road and crashed into a wooded area nearby. A CBS 17 news team is en route to the scene to gather additional details on the case as authorities continue their investigation.
