Alejandra Balderas-Cerritos Obituary, Death – Charleston County officials have identified the victim of a deadly crash that took place early Saturday morning on Savannah Highway.

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office confirmed that 38-year-old Alejandra Balderas-Cerritos, originally from Mexico, lost her life at the scene due to blunt force injuries sustained in the accident.

According to the Charleston Police Department, a preliminary investigation revealed that the crash occurred just before 5 a.m. A Toyota van, traveling south on Savannah Highway, went out of control, veered off the road, and crashed into a tree.

Law enforcement continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
