Abdulrahman Mohamed Obituary, Death – Columbus police have identified the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in northeast Columbus. On Monday, authorities confirmed that 40-year-old Abdulrahman Mohamed was pronounced dead at the scene near the intersection of Walford Street and Fitzroy Drive.

At approximately 8:21 a.m., police responded to reports of two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Mohamed was found dead at the scene, while a second victim was critically injured and taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the second victim’s condition later improved, and they were upgraded to stable condition.

Investigators have identified 26-year-old Devon Ford as the suspect in the shooting. A warrant for Ford’s arrest has been issued, and police are actively searching for him.
