Fedor Lee Warren Lomax Obituary, Death – A 29-year-old man, Fedor Lee Warren Lomax, was fatally shot in an apartment in Pittsburg, Kansas, on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred at 10:54 p.m. at an apartment complex located at 1116 South Elm Street. Police responded to the shooting and found Lomax inside the apartment, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
Following the shooting, the Pittsburg Police Department launched an investigation and identified a suspect. Authorities focused their search on a residence located in the 300 block of East Park Street. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact, but there was no response. Subsequently, they obtained a search warrant and entered the home.
Inside the residence, police discovered the suspect hiding in the attic and took him into custody. The 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder, felony interference with law enforcement, and possession of a firearm as a felon. Additionally, he was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant from Crawford County for failing to appear on a previous drug charge.
