According to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and promptly called 911 for help.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and Huynh was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
