Joshua Ortega Obituary, Death – Hartford police are investigating a fatal drive-by shooting that occurred late Friday night. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of 180 Seymour Street at approximately 11:42 p.m., where they found 39-year-old Joshua Ortega unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Investigators determined the shots were fired from a passing vehicle. The Hartford Police Department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are actively investigating the case. No further details have been released.
