Jennifer Dawn Hearld, Billy Herbert Wallace Obituary, Death – A fatal crash on Wednesday night in Cullman County resulted in the deaths of two individuals, leading to the arrest of one person. The accident, which occurred at the intersection of Highway 157 and Highway 31, involved a total of four vehicles and took place around 8:29 p.m., according to officials from the Cullman Police Department.
Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick confirmed that the victims, both of whom were riding the same motorcycle, were identified as Jennifer Dawn Hearld and Billy Herbert Wallace. Both victims, aged 49, were from Cullman. According to the police, the collision occurred when a 2019 Ford Escape, driven by Felix Thomas Conley, struck the 2004 Harley Davidson Electra Glide that was being ridden by Wallace. The collision caused a chain reaction, hitting two additional vehicles.
Kilpatrick reported that Hearld was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, while Wallace was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Following the tragic deaths, the driver of the Ford Escape, Conley, was arrested and charged with two counts of Reckless Manslaughter.
Conley was taken into custody and transported to the Cullman County Detention Center. The Cullman Police Traffic Homicide Unit is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Authorities are working to piece together the details of the incident to determine the full extent of Conley’s role in the deadly collision.
