Price was struck by Train 3885 on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor Line, between Jersey Avenue and Princeton Junction, according to an Amtrak spokesperson. The incident occurred during the train’s scheduled route from New York Penn Station to Trenton.

Amtrak, which owns and operates the line, is leading the investigation into the fatal collision. The train, carrying 110 passengers, had departed New York Penn Station at 8:37 p.m. and was expected to reach Trenton by 10:07 p.m. Authorities have not yet disclosed further details about the circumstances surrounding the accident.
