Ja Karrion Craig Obituary, Death – Frisco police have arrested and charged a suspect with murder following a fatal shooting outside a Walmart Supercenter on Wednesday night. The incident took place near the Walmart at the northeast corner of Eldorado Parkway and FM 423. Police responded to a report of gunfire, where the caller indicated someone might have been shot and that the suspect had fled in a gray sedan. Upon arrival, officers discovered 22-year-old Ja’Karrion Craig in the parking lot, suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and foot.
Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures, but Craig was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. After reviewing security footage and conducting interviews, police identified a suspect. The Frisco SWAT team arrested the suspect at their residence without incident. Frisco police have stated that the shooting appears to be an isolated event with no ongoing threat to public safety. The Walmart remained open during the investigation as shoppers continued entering and exiting the store.
