On Nov. 10 at 6:29 p.m., officers responded to a crash at East Stassney Lane and Teri Road, where they found 39-year-old Kyla Walker, who had been struck by a vehicle. Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver fled without stopping, according to the Austin Police Department. This incident marks the city’s 76th fatal crash of 2024, resulting in 81 deaths, similar to last year’s totals. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or submit an anonymous tip via Crime Stoppers, with a possible reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
