The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) reported that the accident occurred around 1:40 p.m. on U.S. Highway 59, approximately 3.5 miles south of the K-47 junction, just north of Parsons.
According to KHP, Eastwood was riding southbound when he passed a vehicle on the highway. After merging back into the southbound lane, he lost control of his motorcycle. The details of why he lost control remain unclear. Following the loss of control, Eastwood was ejected from the motorcycle, and he sustained severe injuries. He was transported to the hospital, where he later passed away.
