Jonathon Bonner Obituary, Death – A motorcyclist was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Sunday night in Bensalem Township, Bucks County. Authorities identified the deceased as 34-year-old Jonathon Bonner of Langhorne. The accident occurred around 6:42 p.m. at the intersection of Bensalem Boulevard and Fernwood Avenue.
Responding to the scene, Bensalem Township police found Bonner in a drainage culvert near the intersection, while his black Harley Davidson lay damaged on its side in the road. According to Sgt. Glenn Vandegrift, a witness who saw the crash remained at the scene and spoke with investigators. Preliminary findings indicate that Bonner had been riding north on Bensalem Boulevard when he veered off the road, hitting a utility pole. He sustained severe head injuries and broken bones, and police noted that he did not appear to be wearing a helmet.
The police suspect that alcohol may have played a role in the accident, but they are awaiting toxicology results for confirmation. The investigation is ongoing.
