Sanford Welborn Obituary, Death – A fatal motorcycle accident in Easley, South Carolina, has claimed the life of 57-year-old Sanford Welborn, the Anderson County Coroner’s Office reported. The accident occurred on October 14 at around 3:30 p.m. on Old Pendleton Road, where Welborn’s motorcycle was struck by an oncoming car as he entered the roadway.
Emergency responders arrived and transported Welborn to Prisma Hospital, where he remained hospitalized until he passed away on Saturday from severe injuries sustained in the collision. The coroner’s report stated that Welborn was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and had been ejected from his motorcycle upon impact, resulting in fatal blunt force trauma injuries.
