Erik Schott Obituary, Death: Coroner IDs man killed in Palm Springs tree crash

Erik Schott Obituary, Death – The Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau has identified Erik Schott, a 50-year-old man from Los Angeles, as the victim of a fatal car crash near Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort in Palm Springs. The accident occurred around 3 p.m. in the 1800 block of Golf Club Drive, also known as Lawrence Crossley Road. Palm Springs police and emergency personnel responded to the scene and found Schott as the sole occupant of the vehicle.

He was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Palm Springs Police Department Traffic Unit is currently investigating the crash, with the cause still undetermined.
