Fabian Pedraza Rebollar, Fabian Pedraza Rebollar Obituary, Death – A 53-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a deadly crash that claimed the lives of two people, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO). Deputies responded to the scene of the collision on Tuesday afternoon at approximately 2:46 p.m. on the 27200 block of Interstate 10 West, where they discovered that three vehicles were involved in the crash.
Initial investigations revealed that a gray Hyundai driven by the woman was rear-ended by two vehicles, a white Chevrolet and a red Ford truck. As a result of the impact, the woman was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the white Chevrolet was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead, while the passenger in the same vehicle was declared dead at the scene. The victims have been identified as Fabian Pedraza Rebollar, 38, and Rufino Pedraza Rebollar, 46, by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The driver of the red Ford truck sustained injuries, though they were not life-threatening. Deputies conducting the investigation found that the driver of the gray Hyundai did not appear to have braked before the collision, suggesting that she may not have attempted to avoid the crash. Furthermore, investigators found open containers in her vehicle, prompting further examination of her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) levels at the time of the crash.
As she recovers from her injuries in the hospital, the woman has been charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. These charges stem from her involvement in the deadly crash that resulted in the deaths of the two individuals and the injuries to others.
The BCSO continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
