Dwayne Jackson Obituary, Death: Police identify Seaford man killed in crash that also injured three others, including a 10-year-old.
Dwayne Jackson Obituary, Death – Delaware State Police have identified the 64-year-old man killed in a crash near Seaford as Dwayne Jackson. Jackson, from Seaford, was a front-seat passenger in a Kia Optima driven by a 33-year-old woman from Milford. The accident occurred at about 8:15 p.m. on Ockels Road as the Kia approached a stop sign at Sussex Highway.
According to police, as the Kia entered the intersection to cross Sussex Highway, it moved directly into the path of a Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 37-year-old man from Laurel. The Silverado hit the driver’s side rear of the Kia. Jackson and the driver of the Kia were taken to a nearby hospital; Jackson later died, and the driver was listed in serious condition.
The driver of the Silverado and his 10-year-old passenger, also from Laurel, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at a hospital.
